Mac - Windows Vista in Macbook Pro
I tried Windows Vista Ultimate Edition in my Macbook Pro using Parallels (Built 3170).
Of course, I didn't expect astonishing shell effects and wonderful performance of the OS. Surprisingly, Vista installed quickly, with no problems and started fine. I could use all programs easily and at a very nice speed, even in the full screen mode.
But there are some things you have to be aware of:

But there are some things you have to be aware of:
- do not update your software (virtual machine will crash on reboot) and if you install Office 2007 do not reboot your machine at any time or it will also crash;
- you will not have the visual 3D effects Microsoft announced for this release (virtual machine cannot support them.....yet);
- and one last thing.....you need to assign -at least- 1 Gb of Ram to obtain a good performance.

I did the same installation in my Dell X1 (1.2 Gb Ram + Intel Centrino + 60 Gb hard drive + 128 Mb graphic card). That was a waste of time........my small laptop did not support the needs of Vista so........I couldn't try anything.
