My new spanish iPhone

I recently had the chance to buy an iPhone in NY (since the difference between euro and dollar generates a very nice diskount for europeans).

I was convinced by many features included in this machine: phone, wifi, iPod Touch, Google maps, SMS, sync possibilities with my Macbook Pro and a wide variety of new apps coming from different third companies (not from Apple).

Now, one week after I have activated the phone I must say: IT IS SIMPLY TERRIFIC. It's amazing the way it works, the way things come naturally to you, the way this new iPod works.....and anything that happens with this new gadget.

Salted Maguey worms

One of the most curious and exotic things I ever tasted are Maguey's worms. It happened a few weeks ago in Mexico DF, at Arroyo's Restaurant. These worms live in a cactus plant called Maguey and are cooked just with a bit of salt.

The taste is not as impressive as their appearance and you can eat a dozen without problem. Tequila can obviously help to eat all worms and specially when it is served regularly during the meal.

In case you don't want to eat these insects (in Mexico called "gusanos de maguey"), there is a sauce that gives their flavor to any dish (available in many supermarkets with international food).
